File Formats and Information
« on: December 18, 2012, 08:55:15 PM »
I think we should use this space to talk about what each type of file is and how they are structured.

Directory: Lego Universe/versions
File: quickcheck.txt
Purpose: Allows the patcher to quickly check if any file needs to be updated.
Format: Relative File Path, ?, File Size in Bytes, MD5 Checksum
Sample Line: clientresbrick_mode.cur,1326269862.720000,4286,73ddae739e119020923f9d249c5fde3c

I believe the unknown value is an offset inside of an sd0 update file. I'll check on this later.

Don't worry about the format. You don't have to output it like I did.

Sure! Look for an email from "jonathan@jackandjonathans.com". Also, is there a PK Extractor for Mac?

You should be able to use Mono to open the PK extractor I'm posting. It's written in .NET
I can recode it to use java, python, C or C++ if you want.
Here's a link to the mono project: http://http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page

Attached to the post is the extractor. I have sent some people a link to my shared Dropbox folder, so check your emails.

Thanks. At the moment I'm downloading it so I can test it. Also, I discovered the cdclient.fdb you were talking about. I can send it to you if you want.

Yeah I'd love a copy. Sorry it took so long. I'm working on some of the network code right now. I'm analyzing function by function
to put the whole picture together. Soon I'll add more on what I found into the document I uploaded.

hello
I use 3dsmax and autodesk will soon "give" max users a point cloud tool.
But it seems that it need .rcp or .rcs file formats which is a autodesk format I think
Any idea to convert data from photoscan to this format ? Thanks.
